I was born and raised in Rockford and attended Jackson and St. James Grade Schools and the old St. Thomas High School. I worked at various jobs and served in the army in the mid-sixties and graduated from Northern Illinois University in January, 1973. I substituted in the Rockford Public Schools for a semester and began teaching at St. Rita in the Fall of 1973.
St. Rita is a special parish--young, active, full of enthusiasm and ideas. St. Rita can be especially proud of its school, which is a reflection of the parents, guardians, administration and staff. Parents play a vital role in the Catholic education of children and I'd like to thank you in advance for a continuation of the wonderful cooperation I've come to expect from St. Rita parents and guardians. I teach 6th grade Social Studies and Religion. I also am the Athletic Director.
