Hi Everyone, I am so fortunate to be working at St. Rita Catholic School as the new Spanish teacher.  I graduated from Vanderbilt University and have a Masters of Teaching from Rockford College.  I have many years of classroom experience and I hope to bring to St. Rita the same enthusiasm I have for teaching.  I taught for years in Chicago and then for more years in Florida so I certainly felt the two extremes of weather!  I have also lived in nine states from the time I was nine, although I was born in Rockford and it feels like home to me.  It is my fervent hope that your child learns quite a bit of Spanish this year as I am passionate about the language and think it is an important tool to have as a student.  Thank you for allowing me to serve your children, and I hope you all have a blessed and healthy year.
