PASTORAL COUNCIL
Mission Statement
The St. Rita Pastoral Council is an advisory group representing the diversity
of the parish community. It assists the pastor in shaping the vision, establishing direction,
and developing programs and ministries to fulfill the goals of the parish.
Purpose & Scope
- To participate in parish activities and receive feedback from parish members
- To discern the needs of the parish and provide suggestions/recommendations to the pastor
- To recommend the establishment of committees, commissions or ministries
- To act as liaison to existing committees, commissions or ministries
- To provide guidelines to committees, commissions or ministries, as directed by the pastor
- To act in an advisory capacity for staff review upon the pastor’s request
