Meet our Pre-K 4 Teacher

Hi, my name is Dawn Wrobel and I am the Pre-School teacher for the 4 year old class. This is my sixth year teaching at St. Rita. My husband and I have been members of St. Rita Parish for the past twenty years. We enjoy being members of this “close-knit” community, and are very happy here.

My family includes my husband, Jim, and our two children. Vanessa is 18 and a freshman at UW Stout. Neal is 15 and is a freshman at St. Rita Boylan. My children have been enrolled at St. Rita School since their pre-school years.

I love teaching the pre-schoolers; they have so much energy and are very inquisitive.  Children face so many challenges during pre-school.  It's fun to watch as they make new friends, learn their ABC's, numbers, shapes, etc. and just learn to get along with each other.  By attending Mass, learning prayers and Bible stories, the children also grow spiritually.

Throughout the school year, we cover many areas in our curriculum. We try to introduce topics and subjects in a fun way that makes it interesting and exciting for the children. In addition to our holiday parties, we have a beach party, pajama party, and a teddy bear picnic.

The subjects/areas that are included in our curriculum are:   Religion, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Math, Art, Gym, Music and Library.

God Bless!
