Helllo, I am Joe Sutherland, your child's P.E. teacher.  I am looking forward to working with all the children and families this year at St. Rita.  I am in my fifth year of teaching and received a degree from Western Illinois University in Physical Education.  My goals as a P.E. teacher are to teach the children about being healthy and fit and the importance of teamwork.  When I am not in school, I enjoy going to sporting events, traveling, coaching boys baseball at Guilford High School, and being the assistant Varsity girl's basetball coach at Guilford.  I am excited to be in my fifth year of teaching and I look forward to the many experiences I will have with the students at St. Rita this year.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
