Fellowship Hall
The Fellowship Hall is used each Sunday after worship for coffee, cookies, and conversation. The Hall is also used for Wednesday Night Dinners, our Annual Bazaar and White Elephant sale, Men's Barbershop Chorus Rehearsals, The Des Moines Camera Club meetings, and other social and community activities throughout the year.

Handicap Access      

Our sanctuary and most of our large church building are handicap accessible.  We have handicap parking spaces near a ground floor entrance, which is near the elevator that travels to the 2nd floor sanctuary.  Our church offices, kitchen, fellowship hall, library and restrooms are also handicap accessible.  

Outdoor Courtyard
An outdoor courtyard located on the north side of the building has many flowers and plants, benches, and playground equipment for children of all ages to enjoy.                                                

Library
The Harries Memorial Library has hundreds and hundreds of books covering a vast array of subjects.  You'll find fiction and non-fiction sections, children's books and videos, volume after volume of study aids for the books of the Bible, and many different versions of the Bible.  For research, an Atlas of Bibical times or perhaps one of our many maps, may be used.  A large conference table and a small children's table make the library a welcome tool for Christians of all ages.

Nursery
A 3 room suite comprises our nursery, with sections appropriate for all stages of childhood development.  This area of our church has been recently remodeled and makes nursery time fun for the little ones and worry free for their parents or grandparents.  While all children are welcome in our worship services, those 5 and under may stay in the nursery, under the watchful eye of our nursery coordinator and helpers.  Many children stay in worship through the children's sermon, then go downstairs to the nursery.
