Welcome to the site of the Country Church with a Big Heart! The First Presbyterian Church near Ely is a place bursting with faithful and compassionate people who worship Jesus Christ. Our doors are always open to visitors and people looking for a church family.

We are located in a serene wooded setting alongside a quiet creek, a perfect place to seek & practice the peace of Christ.

People are often surprised at how alive with the Spirit our rural church is. Children scamper outside on playground equipment. Youth shoot hoops on a new outdoor basketball court. Music for worship runs the gamut from classical to jazz to electric band to country to polka.

Meaningful Worship: We are blessed with a large contingent of talented musicians who lead us in Christian worship through the many moods of the church year.

Christian Education: Learning about God's desires for our lives is central to our ministry. If you are looking for a place for you and your family to grow in Christian understanding and Christian love, our core of dedicated educators invite you to our education hour, beginning at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Fun Together: New friends are made and lives enriched through our Tot's Club, Weekly Youth Group, Women's Night Out, and many more groups and activities.
