Deb Bibler working alongside the churches and the students.Members not only fund the program, but weekly serve lunch and build friendships at the Pres House on campus.
The Community Services Ministry is an ecumenical crisis ministry offering assistance to neighbors in need.On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, volunteers from various churches meet in a small building on Forrest Street to counsel, pray, and offer financial assistance.

Over two decades ago the church had a vision to reach out with the gospel by broadcasting the Sunday worship service over WISK-FM radio.Each service is hosted by one of our youth and listeners are encouraged to download bulletins from this web site and email or call in prayer requests.
The Sumter Area Ministerial Association (SAMA) meets the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am in the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian. SAMA is a place where ministers and lay church leaders gather to build fellowship among the churches. Throughout the years they have worked cooperatively to sponsor community worship and prayer services, to address social needs in the community, and to offer a place of friendship for church leaders.
A ministry of SAMA partner churches addressing hunger in Sumter County. Volunteers are invited to pack food bags on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month and to distribute the bags on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.
