Bereavement Committee |
|
|
Consists of volunteers who are willing to serve light lunches or meals after a funeral. |
|
|
Homeless Program |
|
|
This ministry cares for 10 homeless men every Tuesday night during the months of November through March. Volunteers provide supervision at night, prepare meals, do laundry and transport the men to and from the shelter in Paterson. |
|
|
Nursery |
|
|
Nursery is provided for infants and toddlers during the morning worship service. |
|
|
Sunday Church Opening/Closing |
|
|
A group of volunteers who open and close the church for Sunday worshp services. |
|
|
Sunday Morning Coffee |
|
|
A group of volunteers who serve a light snack, coffee & juice in the Barn after the morning worship service. |
|
|
Telephone Ministry |
|
|
A group of volunteers who answer calls from shut-ins before the morning and evening services and connect them to our worship service. |

|
Ushers |
|
|
A group of volunteers who usher at the morning and evening services. |

Booster Club
|
|
|
The Booster Club helps support Faith Community families in their commitment to sending their children to Eastern Christian Schools. Monies raised through Faith Community sponsored events will be divided equally among the FCCRC EC students and sent directly to ECSA for tuition support.

| ADULT MINISTRIES |
|
|
Choir |
|
|
The Adult Choir (High School students and older) rehearses every Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We are always looking for new voices! |
|
|
Ladies Bible Study |
|
|
A Bible study for women of the church and community meets on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Barn. |
|
|
Men's Bible Study |
|
|
A Bible study for men of the church and community meets on Wednesday mornings at 6 a.m. at an office in Midland Park. |
|
|
Small Groups |
|
|
Groups meet in a more intimate setting to study the Bible or other relevant topics from a Christian perspective. The 4th Sunday evening of every month is set aside as a time for groups to meet. |

|
Wednesday Night Prayer Group |
|
|
A prayer group meets Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in Pastor Wes' office. |

| YOUTH MINISTRIES |
|
|
Cadets
|
|
|
Cadets meet every Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (8:15 p.m. for Junior Cadets, ages 7 & 8) at the Eastern Christian Middle School located directly behind our church. Activities include weekly badge work, game time, prayer, Bible study, and exciting trips to football games and other interesting places. |

Children's Worship |
|
|
During the morning worship service there is a seperate church worship for children from ages 3 to Kindergarten in Classroom 2. This special time provides children with a worship center tailored to their attention span. Biblical stories are taught using a variety of props designed to capture a child's interest. The stories are reinforced by reading the actual passage from the Bible. Their worship time also includes prayer and singing. |

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior)
|
|
|
Girls from 1st grade to 7th grade meet every other Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The girls have fun together while learning to love and praise God. They meet for singing, lessons, crafts & snacks. |

|
Go M.A.D. (Make A Difference)
|
|
|
This is a joint ministry with Cedar Hill & Midland Park CRCs for 5th and 6th graders that meets the first Friday of every month on Faith Community's campus for games, snacks and lesson activities. There are also 2 to 3 special activities throughout the year. |

Hayloft |
|
|
Hayloft Classes meet Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. on the second floor of the Barn.
Dan Grimm leads the class for 7th & 8th grades
David Dykhouse leads the class for 9th & 10th grades
Pastor Wes leads the class for 11th & 12th grades. |

Heirborne
|
|
|
This is a joint ministry with Cedar Hill and Midland Park CRCs for 7th & 8th graders. This group meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month for games, singing, food, teaching & small group Bible study at Cedar Hill Church from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Heirborne also holds a special activity every month. |

KidSpace |
|
|
KidSpace is for children in grades K through 6. It meets at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday in the Fellowship Hall. |
|
|
LinC (Living in Christ)
|
|
|
This is a joint ministry with Cedar Hill and Midland Park CRCs for 9th through 12th graders that meets every other Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Barn. LinC gets together for games, singing, snacks, teaching & small group Bible study. They also have a special activity once a month. |
