The Women's Association program includes Bible study and an active interest in the mission needs of the church, the community, and the world. Several social functions are held each year to raise funds as well as highlighting the group's activities. The Association is divided into two equal "Circles". Both meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month: Priscilla at 9:30 am, Miriam at 12 noon.
The Women's Association is involved in a seemingly endless number of activities that improve the lives of others:
Aid for Friends is provided by delivering breakfast bags and frozen dinners to the needy, elderly, and disabled.
Bakeless Bake Sale is an ongoing means of raising funds for community work.
Birthday Pennies, donated by members as they celebrate their birthdays, are used to support ministry projects throughout the world.
Christmas Stockings are filled and distributed to a nursing home.
Comfort Pillows are made for surgical patients at Abington hospital.
Lap Robes are crocheted and distributed to local area nursing homes.
Sole Tree - a Christmas season program that provides shoes to needy children.
Sunset Gap-
Two Cents A Meal is contributed during the forty days of Lent to produce a total of $2.40 per participating member. The total is combined with similar contributions from other churches within the Philadelphia Presbytery and donated to the Care Closet, Potato Project, and the Zimbabwe Presbyterian Feeding Program.
