After a year off we are gearing up for another summer of VBS.  In 2009, we will be gatehring the Knights of the Kingdom because... THE KING IS COMING!  God's everlasting covenant begins with creation and is fulfilled with the King's eternal reign. This year we'll see God establishing a relationship with his people through all of Scripture.

Knights and princesses, ages 3 to going into 6th grade are invited.  Registration information will be available in May.

VOLUNTEERS!  We need all gifts and talents to help us pull VBS together every year.  Please sign up in the narthex of church or else email pastorchad@centralavecrc.org to find out where you can be used.

Past VBS Themes:

In 2003, "Under Construction," a Habitat for Humanity VBS that challenged us toward service for Christ's Kingdom.

In 2004, "The Race Is On," learning about Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth and the Life.

In 2005 we were "Upward Bound," going to new heights in learning about Jesus.

In 2006 we look at God's creation and His plan for salvation through "Genesis 1: Space Probe."

In 2007 we went on a "Summer Seaquest," discovering the God who saves through the story of Jonah.

Typically we have used curriculum from Great Commission Publications or VBS Reachout Adventures.
