At Coffee Break, women from all walks of life build relationships with one another and discover for themselves what the Bible is all about-whether they have little or lots of previous knowledge about the Bible. Our Mission is to invite and nurture women and children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
First Church has had a successful Coffee Break small group program on Wednesday nights and in several office settings for several years.
Maybe you've been asking yourself: Should I attend Coffee Break?
If so, please ask yourself a few more questions:
l Is there a friend I'd like to invite church but I don't know where to start?
l Is there an activity that helps people learn about the Bible in a non-threatening way?
l How can I support this outreach ministry in prayer?
l If I have the gift of service or hospitality, how could I use that with Coffee Break?
l You can help serve a dinner for The Joshua Station along with Coffee Break. (This could be man or woman, older or younger.)
l Might I be interested in starting a seeker friendly Bible Study in the future?
l Should I attend the Wednesday night Coffee Break to find out more about inductive Bible Studies?
l Is there someone willing to help me start such a study?
l Do I feel God's call to be a supportive friend for community women who attend Coffee Break?
If you answered YES to one or more of these questions, Coffee Break is for YOU!
Please come and join us!
