For over 40 years, the Sew & Sew's group has been meeting at First Church!  This group of ladies meets every other week in the Library to create blankets, layettes, hats and other needed items for local and international orphanages and outreach centers.  Their donations have been sent all over the world - to the Ukraine and Africa as well as locally here to Bethany and the Joshua Station and many other organizations with a  need.  Their current projects include making blankets for the Joshua Station and warm hats for an orphanage in the Ukraine.  If you would like to be a part of furthering this ministry, they can use blanket binding, fleece and flannel materials.  Additionally, gift cards to Joanne Fabrics would be well used.  Of course, you are invited to join with them on Thursday morninings as well!  We give thanks for their willingness and passion to use their God given gifts and talents to touch these lives in this way.
