Monthly Morning Ministry
Monthly Morning Ministry meets the third Saturday morning of every month. This is a new kind of ministry available at Immanuel-Trinity. Everyone is invited to come to the new Family Life Center from 9:00a.m. until noon to :
Teachers are available if you would like to learn to knit or crochet.
The morning will begin with coffee, juice, rolls, and a prayer.
Every item we make, we will bless before passing it on to someone who needs it, whatever "it" is, be it a baby afghan or cap, prayer shawl, dish towels or children's sweaters, made for the child of God who will receive it, so that person feels warmed and wrapped in the arms of God. The recipients may be shut-ins, new mothers, or someone who is ill, or others whom you may think of. So far we have given these gifts to Hospice Home of Hope, Bethany House, New Beginnings, Stephen Minister care-receivers, and Salvation Army Daycare Center.
Our mission is to reach out to our larger community and let others know we pray for them and care about them. Join us! How can you refuse??? Come! Bring a son or a daughter or neighbor or parent! Reap the blessings of "doing unto others as you would have them do to you" !!
