The Deacons and Deaconess of Zion Baptist Church are dedicated to assist Pastor Gray in ministering to the congregation and members. We are always available to encourage and minister to our members during sickness, death and in any situation.  Some of our duties are to prepare communion for Sunday service and deliver communion to the sick and shut-in members. We are available to fill in for any ministry at any time. The Chairman of the Deacon Board will officiate services if the pastor or associates are not available.

Pastor Gray should be in the sight of  the Armour Bearer at all times.. The Armour Bearer should be able to discern Pastor Gray's needs and provide a secure atmosphere.
