We had six to attend the WMU Missions Get-Together in Gatlinburg on March 20-22. It was a wonderful time of worship, praise, and fun! Our theme was 'Love Out Loud!' and our worship leader, Page Hughes, brought us the message that we need to fill up on Jesus and the Word and then let it spill over and touch those around us for His Kingdom! Mark your calendar for next year - March 19-21, 2010 - and join us.Our WMU Associational Annual Meeting will be held on May 4, 2009 at Ridgedale Baptist Church at 5:00 p.m. We will have a Missions Fair and speaker. Our church display will be about our ministry to Kenya. We have an opportunity during the month of April to make a gift to the Hamilton County WMU Endowment Fund in honor or memory of someone to continue the work of WMU in our association. These will be turned in during our annual meeting. More details later.In April, look for a table in the gym to collect items for Mission Action. We will collect tabs off drink cans, yarn, and eyeglasses in April. You can, also, bring Campbell's soup labels anytime. Thanks for your continued support!Don't forget to give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Our church goal is $2,000 and our missionaries depend on these funds.
