Drama, described by Webster as a noun, means in the simplest definition, play. Play then means to present, to act out.

God has given each of us a talent and He desires that we present it back to Him. Some of the ways we can do this is by singing a solo, or playing a beautiful song on an instrument.  We certainly are blessed with much of this talent at SCRBC.

To some He has given the talent of drama! Be sure He wants us to give that back to Him as well. If He does indeed give us this talent, do we think He wants it to be hidden? Of course not!  How does that old song go.. bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, all your money, talent, time and love. So yes, we see in this very old song the author suggest we bring our talent into Gods storehouse. It further says dedicate them all upon the Altar, then trust, try and prove me says the Lord.

We at SCRBC are so very blessed to have much talent in the skill of acting. We also have many people who have been given the talent of: narrating, directing, producing, creating through costume design and set design, working with lights, cameras, sound, videos, props, cues, all these and much more!  People who are willing and do give of their time to dedicate this talent to the Lord and His church. You have witnessed much of this talent in the last few years, during plays and musicals.

Are you interested?  Do you have a talent you've wanted to share?  Then you are just who we've been looking for!  We have a ministry here at SCRBC, and it's called the Drama Ministry, and we want you to be a part of it!

The result of people sharing their talent through drama has resulted in people being Saved. Praise the Lord we had one young lady saved during play practice! It's the only reason we are interested in doing it. It's not to entertain.
