"Come join us Wednesday evenings for Bible study and prayer.  We meet in the Washington, DC CRC sanctuary at 7pm.  We leave no later than 8pm.  We usually engage in a topical study for approximately thirty minutes, and pray for personal and public concerns until dismissal.

We have discovered that Bible study and prayer work well together.  We practice both because:  we are disciples of Jesus Christ; and we are in a special  relationship with God.  That is, Bible study and  prayer are Christian disciplines, and communication is fundamental to human relationships.  Through Bible study God talks to us.  Through prayer we talk to God."
