"And the little child shall lead them ..."Hot Chocolate Ministry got its start at Bethany by the youth of the church in 2001. Teens on their mission trip that summer spent a week serving meals in shelters, providing child care to homeless parents, and walking the streets with their adult leaders ... providing beverages to those down on their luck. The kids quickly caught the knack of praying with and for total strangers. The young people have since repeated this ministry in downtown Sacramento. No matter a person's economic or social status, he or she inevitably seems touched that teenagers are reaching out in the name of Christ. To whom much is given is much required--Luke 12:49
