Missions and Outreach
Missions and Outreach could take you across the world, to another state, or just across the street. It could take you to another country or to another neighborhood. We encounter people every day who need to hear the good news of the gospel like these children from our community that came to visit us during our Trunk Or Treat Outreach.  Please visit our Photo Gallery to see more pictures of other mission projects.
World Changers
Our church has been a part of this awesome ministry for over 5 years now.  Each summer our High School and Collegiate students along with several committed adult leaders go into communities all across the states to rebuild homes and lives.  Bro. Don McKaig is the Director of our New Collegiate Ministry here at Spring Creek Road Baptist Church and is the head of our World Changers Mission efforts.  You will find some pictures of some of their world changers projects on our photo gallery as well as some of our Chattanooga World Changers projects.

Renovation of our Building
Our current Worship facility was built in 1962 but the education space and office complex are much older than that. We are currently in the process of an ongoing remodling phase. Look and see what is going on here at SCRBC as individuals sacrifice a little time and effort.
Servant Evangelism

Servant Evangelism

Servant Evangelism is a "no strings" approach to reaching people for Christ.  Our Servant Evangelism efforts began shortly after our 40 Days of Purpose Campaign here at Spring Creek Road Baptist Church.  Our Unity Class (Young Adult Bible Study Class) began to search for innovative ways of reaching people for Christ.  We found a great website at: servantevangelism.com.

On this website, we found things like Totally Free Lemonade Stands, Feeding football teams after practice, and Free window washing in parking lots.  These totally unselfish acts of kindness sparked many different feelings from those who received them.  We found that the mindset of people today is that, "nothing is really totally free".  In fact after performing these acts of kindness, we had many individuals ask us questions like: "What's the catch?"  or "Where are the hidden cameras?"  Some people would actually just walk by and not even acknowledge we were there because they felt like it was some kind of fundraiser.

In any case, we simply met the need and gave them a card that read:  "This is our FREE gift to you.  There are no strings attached.  We want you to know that God loves you and we do to."

If you would like more information about Servant Evangelism and how you can be a part of it, visit the site link on this page or on our home page.  You may also contact Pastor James Julian at the Church office or by email: pastor@scrbc.com
