| Rev. Lorie Pfursich grew up in Davis, California, and graduated with a B.S. from the University of California, Davis. She attended Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, where she received her M.Div. She is currently enrolled in the D.Min. program at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. For 16 years she worked with Young Life, an outreach ministry to adolescents. She has served as adjunct faculty at Whitworth College, was Associate Pastor for Campus Ministries at the Congregational/Presbyterian Church in Lewiston, Idaho, and served as solo pastor at Deer Park United Methodist Church in Deer Park, Washington. Most recently she was interim Senior Pastor at Opportunity Presbyterian Church in Spokane Valley, Washington. Lorie has been at Bethany since June 2007. She is leading the congregation through a congregational transformation process called Bethany Anew: The Sunrise Trek. |
