Our pastor -- the Reverend Mr. David F. Crow has been at Bethlehem since January of 2006. David has been a minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church for more than 20 years and has served in congregations that range in size from a few dozen to over two thousand.

While he values each of those experiences, he says that the smaller church is a special place: "One of the great privileges of Christian ministry," David says, "is that it calls you into pivotal moments in the lives of others. Most of us are only infrequently a part of those times of ultimate import in people's lives. But for a minister those times (weddings, births, baptisms, deaths, funerals, family celebrations and crises,) are often a central part of what we do. It is humbling to be invited into those moments and a joy to bear the Good News of Christ into those circumstances. In the larger church pastors are often distanced by the demands of their work from being able to 'be there' on those occasions."

David is a graduate of The University of California at San Diego and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He and his wife Kim have been married for more than 25 years and they have three children. David is an avid golfer and reader in his free time.
