About Pastor Adamson
Pastor Terry Adamson, born in Phoenix, Arizona, studied originally to be a German, French and History teacher. The Lord, however, had other plans, and in 1992, Pastor Adamson graduated from Concordia Seminary. He has served parishes in Bogalusa, Louisiana, Lafayette, Louisiana, and Mustang, Oklahoma.
During the 1990-1991 school year, while on his vicarage in Port Arthur, Texas, [ask him sometime why Pt. Arthur] he met the lovely Claudia Acosta and her children Lita and David. As things go, the vicar and Claudia met, became friends, and the short version has it that they fell in love and married [but you'll need to talk to Claudia for the long version]. Pastor and Claudia will be married for 18 years this coming November 10. The children have grown up. Lita, married to John Ross, lives in Lumberton, Texas, and David, married to Kourtney, lives in Buna, Texas, both of which are East-North-East of Beaumont, Texas, which is east of Houston.
Claudia, born in Port Arthur, Texas, was attending Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas, when vicar carried her off to the Missouri northland of St. Louis for one last year of his seminary education.
We are extremely glad to be here in Amherst and to be a part of St. Paul's outreach with the message of Christ Jesus.
