A PLACE OF REFUGE

During a revolt and siege of Jerusalem in A.D. 66, a small group of believers sought refuge in the remote town of Pella.  Located in the Judean Mountains, Pella was a safe haven and sanctuary for the faithful people.

 Like the first Pella in the mountains, our church strives to be "A Place of Refuge" for all souls who seek refuge from this world.  The cross is where we find that refuge.

Pella Lutheran Church strives to be a refuge and safe haven for the people of God in the same way. 

We have peace and comfort only in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ!
