Lent: A Time for Reflection
On Wednesday, February 25, we will enter the Season of Lent in the church year. Lent is a time for reflection. In our busy lives we do not often take time to reflect on who we are, where we are going, what's most important to us, or what our relationship to God actually means. Lent gives us the opportunity for such reflection, if we make use of the season wisely. Traditionally, Lent has called Christians to repentance, to prayer and self-denial, and to serving others. These ideas are worth our time in reflection and action during this season that begins now and will end with the glorious celebration of Easter on April 12. Join this Lenten journey and draw closer to Jesus.
