Peace, Contentment, Hope, Help, Love, etc?
Are you trying to find it in your marriage/family, your career, your stuff, lurid images on the internet, sexual conquests, alcohol/drugs, or...?
God provides hope and help, peace and contentment! But, He deals with eternal things first, then the "here & now." He wants us to look in the right place, and for the right kind of Peace.
We are a young church committed to the fundamental teachings of the Christian faith.
Whether we will admit it or not, everyone is in need of the Truth of God found in Jesus Christ, His Son.
If you came here as an unbeliever, atheist, agnostic, skeptic, etc.--your greatest need is to glorify God by humbling yourself before God and placing faith in His Son.
As Christians, our greatest need is to give God glory by allowing His Word to transform our thinking, speech and actions. As we slowly change to look more like His Son, we will know more and more what His good, perfect and acceptable will is.
Neither of the last two paragraphs convey popular messages. But, following Christ is not about who's along for the ride.
